This time last week, we were still buzzing from our wonderful night at Goldsmith’s Hall for the Association of Catering Excellence (ACE) Wine Dinner. The setting really was magical, and the dining hall was lit up by chandeliers containing real candles. Unusually for ACE, it was a black tie event so we dressed up to the nines and enjoyed the majesty and splendour of Goldsmith’s Hall. We enjoyed 4 delicious courses, each accompanied by a different wine. I think it’s fair to say that we floated home.
Cathy is on the council for ACE which is a networking organisation for the foodservice industry. The Wine Dinner is one of several events that are run in order to promote face to face networking in a relaxed and fun environment. The next event is Quiz Night in April.
