Each year, we attend the CEDA conference as it’s so valuable to meet up with our fellow food service professionals. Cathy is a board member, and the conference is a chance to socialise as well as to keep up to date with developments in the industry. This year it took place on 4th & 5th April 2019.
Cathy says:
“I’m going to be working with the new chair Derek Maher on liaison with Hospitality Action to progress the awareness of their valuable work within the industry.
The conference brought us up to date with superb presentations by Peter Martin of CGA talking about the current marketplace and looking at future trends.
Two excellent presenters had us hanging on the edge of our seats – Marcel Kham of “Thunderbird Fried Chicken’ (look out for that name) and BJ Cunningham who’s amazing story includes the marketing of the ‘Death’ brand of cigarettes in the 1990’s”
The conference was held at the stunning Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.
