It’s not often we all get to go out together, but this week we attended the ACE Summer Party at ZSL London Zoo, which incorporated the ACE Robyns Awards ceremony.
Cathy, Michael, Stephen, Andrea and Emma enjoyed a lovely evening at the zoo, mingling with friends, colleagues, customers and suppliers. Some of us really got into the spirit of the event and had our faces painted as part of the Indian themed entertainment, which also included Bollywood Dancers, Indian street food and intricately painted cupcakes in henna tattoo style.
Cathy is a member of the ACE Council which plans and organises 4 main networking events for the foodservice industry each year. The ACE Robyns Award was launched last year in memory of Robyn Jones of CH&Co. It celebrates the achievements of the industry’s rising stars under the age of 35, and this year was given to the extremely worthy Laura Amos of Ampersand at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
