Now that the children have broken up for the school holidays, it’s time for us to roll up our sleeves and get to work! We’re carrying out a total refurbishment at Ark John Keats, Enfield as they re-take control of their own catering and bring back fresh food for their pupils. We’re knocking out rooms off the corridor and fitting a brand new cold store for their deliveries; beefing up their cooking facilities; giving them a wonderful new dishwasher. The staff are very excited about coming back in September to a brand new kitchen – and a special surprise that we’ll be revealing in our next newsletter!
Royal Grammar School in Guildford is also having a total revamp. Our client Emma and her head chef Julian have worked hard with the WilcoxBurchmore team to make sure the kitchen delivers in terms of design, space allocation and exactly the right equipment. With new flooring, ventilation and equipment the staff are looking forward to their return (well as much as they can!) as they serve over 1,000 lunches in ONE sitting!
Lovely Abbey College in Birmingham is investing in a really wonderful café bar for their sophisticated 6th form students. Headmaster Stephen Robinson used the colourful visuals we produced to choose a very funky modern look for the new facility
