What a privilege to be helping to improve the food service for our hardworking NHS staff at St Thomas’s hospital.
The existing counter (below) had seen better days and the drop in salad bar was becoming too small for their needs.
We pulled out the existing counters and matched a new counter to the finish of the current servery area.
Two drop in salad wells were installed with one large gantry, giving the impression of one large salad bar.
We also installed a raised bulk head above the salad bar, including custom images for the client – this is used as a daily menu board.
Secondly in the other servery we removed and disposed of an existing Ceran hot plate and replaced it with a new assisted serve Ceran hot plate.
The project was completed last weekend with an early start on Sunday morning as the Riverside cafe (currently open 24/7) wanted to serve full roast dinner – the boys worked hard and our lovely clients are thrilled!!
