Earlier in June, the second Fork to Fork festival took place at Ark Franklin Primary Academy raising over £60k to help create an Open Air Classroom, a fabulous resource where children will be able to learn about growing plants and food. WilcoxBurchmore were delighted to once again sponsor this event which provides a day of feasting, music and festivity in a relaxed, family friendly environment, and features some of London’s finest restaurants as well as street food and casual dining. Just have a look at some of the restaurants that were involved!
The festival is the result of a bright idea by local residents, Thomasina Miers, MasterChef winner and co-founder of Mexican restaurant group Wahaca, and Laura Harper-Hinton, co-founder and creative director of Caravan all-day restaurants and speciality coffee business Caravan Coffee Roasters.
