Last night the Association of Catering Excellence held another successful Ready Steady Cook event at the stunning East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf. Cathy had the enviable job of looking after the chefs as their ‘mystery ingredients’ were revealed. She then enjoyed their undivided attention as they received their briefing for the event.
Congratulations to Faye and Terry from Restaurant Associates who won the cooking competition. And congratulations also to Louise from Lexington who won the Young Chef Award. Out of 28 chefs, there were just 2 women, both aged under 25 and both winners. Maybe that will provide some inspiration for more females to enter the industry…
