This year, we’d like to sponsor a charity for Christmas. We are shipping some backpacks to Uganda. This rather shy girl is Prima from a village in Uganda called Rukiga
– Cathy sponsors her through a charity organisation called Click Rukiga. She is pictured collecting a care package that includes toiletries and basic necessities.

Click Rukiga is a ‘community to community’ link between the communities of Ickenham, in North West London- with a population of 10,000 people and Rukiga in South West Uganda with a population of 10,000 families. The two communities are, in many ways worlds apart, but wish to share their experiences, skills and resources for mutual support.

Through St Giles church, the congregation sponsors 47 children which helps support their families and means that they all get schooling.
We hope therefore, you support our decision, in that rather than buying and sending Christmas cards, WilcoxBurchmore are sending 47 of their backpacks to the village so every child has one to carry their school books.
