Wilcox Burchmore are delighted to have been chosen as the company entrusted to refurbish the café at the renowned Central Hall Westminster.

Central Hall Westminster is central London’s largest conference and events venue.  Originally it opened in 1912 and was used as a public meeting space for the Methodist Church. Since then, it has hosted innumerable events of political and cultural significance, and welcomed several famous names through its doors.

The cafe on the lower ground floor provides somewhere for members of the public and regular visitors to relax and enjoy a variety of food and refreshments.

Facilities Manager, Adrian Roberts had employed Wilcox Burchmore to undertake a £250k refurbishment at his last job and was so pleased with the standard of work that he called Cathy as soon as he knew he needed a revamp.

Cathy says “We are thrilled at having the opportunity of working with Adrian again – he’s entrusted us once more with a huge project and we are looking forward to giving him a café at Central Hall that will be totally different, incorporating a stand alone coffee bar and some comfortable seating that maximises the area whilst being sympathetic to the nature of the truly beautiful building.”

Work starts in July so watch this space as the project develops.
